THE 6TH SCENT CANDLE is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Production and Sales Assistant to join our team. This position offers part-time hours with the potential for full-time employment as our business continues to grow.
You’ll be supporting both production tasks in our warehouse in Port Kells (Surrey) and sales at our Willowbrook Mall storefront (Langley) or local markets.
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: Approximately 20-24hours per week (weekends as needed)
Location: On-site in Port Kells (Surrey) or storefront in Willowbrook Mall (Langley) — must be able to commute
Production & Sales Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting in the preparation and pouring of candles and home fragrance products
- Maintaining a clean and organized production area
- Supporting the production team with day-to-day tasks
- Assisting during sales events at markets and our storefront
- Engaging with customers and providing product knowledge
- Helping with setup and takedown of sales displays
Requirements:
- Experience in production or retail preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for long periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Must be able to commute to both warehouse and store
