Job Title: Business Development Manager – Medical & Science Communications

From grant writing and manuscript development to CME slide decks and meeting reports, we help researchers and healthcare professionals tell their stories with clarity and impact.
We're looking for an energetic, driven extrovert to act as our strategic Partnership Development Manager to help us grow our client base, build lasting relationships, and expand our presence in the scientific and medical landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across the academic, biotech, pharma, and healthcare sectors
- Conduct outbound outreach (email, cold calls, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage potential clients
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Understand client needs and work with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals
- Develop and manage a pipeline of leads, tracking progress and reporting regularly to leadership
- Contribute to the development of pitch decks, capabilities presentations, and other business development materials
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in a scientific, healthcare, or communications-related field
- Strong understanding of the medical/scientific ecosystem, including pharma, biotech, academia, or publishing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Comfortable with cold outreach and proactive engagement strategies
- Experience attending or exhibiting at conferences and industry events
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a life science or related field is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
