Our Lachine, Quebec (Satellite) office is looking for a Coop, Engineering (Manufacturing) student.
Reporting to the Production Manager this position interprets the Manufacturing Information documents in order to mechanically assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts or modify basic components for the Lachine product lines to help meet specific objectives in our production environment. The Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total) are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

In this function you will:
Assisting with the operation of machinery, constructing, and assembling cells for production.
Work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures.
Utilize single line diagrams to support manufacturing and Sales issues.
Work or interact with different stakeholders at the site, which include engineering, sales, production, and project management team.
Support our Engineering Services Group on special projects and record keeping.

Currently enrolled in a University program in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Industrial).
Enrolled and Returning to a post-secondary program.
Candidates must be 18 years of age by April 30, 2022.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Relocation is not available for this role.
0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products.
Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor.
Strong analytic skills using Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and VBA.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Effective time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
