As an Inside Sales/Counter Sales Manager, you would be responsible for leading the inside sales/counter sales team by fielding order desk telephone inquiries and entering orders. Also, you would handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues or problems that arise to customer’s satisfaction. You would be responsible for serving our ‘pick-up’ customers at our sales counter when required, including entering the order, picking stock, and assisting the customer. This position offers a salary of $90,000 along with other perks!

TYPICAL DAYS AND DUTIES
Prepare quotes for customers and follow up in a timely manner
Source products, specs, and solutions
Enter orders and expedite to ensure customer deadlines are met
Assure accurate and prompt response times to all customers and suppliers through our smooth sales processes
Follow up daily on open orders and quotes
Assist Sales Reps working with customers
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Serve and assist ‘pick-up’ customers
Pick customer orders from stock in the warehouse
Call customers when orders are ready for pick-up
Assist warehouse staff with order picking and checking, as required
Support sales team by guiding inside sales to provide excellent customer service
Facilitate training and development of employees’ abilities
Adjust/develop processes to increase efficiencies in order entry and quoting
Work as a team with inside sales, counter and warehouse staff to achieve the company’s goals
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
Minimum of 5 years of experience with lighting and electrical products
Proven high level of customer service experience
Possess a positive can-do attitude and ability to maintain effective working relationships with direct reports, colleagues, and partners
Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
EDUCATION
Post-secondary or professional experience equivalent
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Basic Computer Skills
Experience using CRM
