Company Overview
Made the Grade Photography (www.madethegrade.ca) is a growing school photography company serving the Lower Mainland. We’ve been well received because of our fresh style of photography and lighting setups designed to highlight the youth, personality and energy of the elementary school students we photograph.
We provide school administrators and teachers with a smooth, easy, and fun picture day experience, while giving parents beautiful portraiture that stands apart from the school photos of yesteryear.
Our core value is simple: make picture day feel easy, fun, and positive for everyone involved — especially the kids. We believe great school photography starts with positive energy, patience, and genuine care for the students, schools, and families we serve.
Summary
We have a small, dedicated team of photographers who return year after year because picture day with Made the Grade is genuinely a lot of fun. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for several new photographers to join our team this year and help us serve our expanding list of schools.
The ideal applicant is dependable, punctual, respectful, and brings positive energy to every picture day. This role is especially well-suited to someone who enjoys working with elementary-aged children and has the warmth, patience, and enthusiasm needed to help students feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Applicants should have their own vehicle and good availability during the fall school photography season, which runs from September through November. A seasonal schedule will be provided well in advance so team members can plan accordingly.
