Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods.
- Apply pest control treatments using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, safety practices, and new pest control technologies.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, as you may be required to promote additional services to clients.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, or farm machinery is beneficial for performing various tasks associated with pest control operations.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and providing excellent customer service.
