Prepare detailed takeoffs and pricing for cable runs, switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), substations, control systems, and lighting installations across both new developments and existing mine workings.
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with technical specifications.
Use InEight estimating software to develop detailed cost breakdowns, bid summaries, and comprehensive tender submissions.
Lead bid reviews and present to senior management and clients, clearly explaining key assumptions, major risks, and the reasoning behind the proposed approach.
Assess and integrate mine‑specific considerations, including ground conditions, ventilation requirements, equipment access, and scheduling constraints into project estimates and planning.
Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements within the mining industry.
Prepare single-line electrical drawings as needed to support material takeoffs and to include in project submissions
Salary Range (Base): $96,000.00 - $132,000.00 - Based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
