Laundry Attendant – Best Western Fireside InnJob Overview
Best Western Fireside Inn is looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will help ensure our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay by maintaining a steady supply of fresh linens, towels, and other hotel laundry. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Previous hotel laundry experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms.
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report items that need replacing.
- Follow proper stain removal and laundry procedures.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and other hotel departments as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and Best Western cleanliness standards.
- Assist with other housekeeping or hotel duties when required.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or commercial laundry experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
