We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Case Worker to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing immigration cases, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing exceptional client support. Duties
- Manage and oversee immigration case files from initiation to completion
- Draft legal documents, affidavits, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Proofread all documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal standards
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date case records
- Organize and file case documents systematically
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone etiquette, providing updates and answering inquiries professionally
- Support project management activities related to immigration cases, coordinating deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining organized office records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to legal protocols
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills
- Excellent proofreading, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with LexisNexis or similar legal research tools is preferred
- Experience with iManage or other document management systems is a plus
- Prior experience in project management or case management is desirable
- Strong research abilities related to immigration law and procedures
- Effective interviewing skills for client interactions
- Proficiency in data entry, filing, and clerical tasks with high accuracy standards
- Knowledge of legal drafting standards for immigration-related documents
- Exceptional phone etiquette for client communication and follow-up interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally
