YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and build functional and/or visual models of products, mainly (but not exclusively) related to accessories for recreational vehicles;
Figure out technical solutions to answer to designers’ needs through the fabrication of models, mules and prototypes;
Respect and integrate the technical constraints (mechanical package) when available;
Respect and integrate the ergonomic constraints when available.
You are a master of speed and accuracy; the right level of details for the right result, at the right time;
Your are passionate about model making and little technical clever solutions;
You have a good knowledge of the manual fabrication techniques and traditional model making processes for wood, metal, plastics, foamcore and of clay modeling as a type of model;
You have a good knowledge of a CAD software (Rhino 6, Alias, Catia) - important asset;
You have a DEC in Design technician (or equivalent) and/or specialized education in model making, or clay modeling or woodwork / cabinet making;
Experience (+2 years) in the development and fabrication of models.
