Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess strong negotiation skills, and have experience in sales. This role involves engaging with customers both in person and via various communication channels to promote our vehicle inventory, build lasting relationships, and drive sales growth. The Automotive Sales Consultant will play a key role in managing the sales pipeline, upselling products, and providing exceptional customer service to meet dealership goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through outside sales efforts and community outreach.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend suitable vehicles and accessories.
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting dealership objectives.
- Manage and nurture the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing the sale.
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to enhance customer value.
- Support the sales process by coordinating with finance, service, and support teams for seamless transactions.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current inventory, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Utilize marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and phone etiquette when engaging with clients over the phone or in person.
- Organize appointments, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently using organizational skills.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive sales or retail sales environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in sales is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with sales support tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with solid organizational abilities.

Pay: $37,960.00-$100,000.00 per year
