Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in the residential settings. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute plumbing layouts and schematics.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or faulty components; troubleshoot problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving heavy lifting, carpentry work, or HVAC components to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
- Use basic math skills to measure materials accurately and calculate pipe lengths or flow rates as needed for installation or repairs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with construction materials and heavy equipment; ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for project documentation.
Requirements
- Valid license as a professional plumber with proven experience in residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in plumbing installation and repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Experience in carpentry, blueprint reading, and construction processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities if applicable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues as they arise.
