Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficient processing, packing, and shipping of customer orders and store transfers. The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for the order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are delivered on time, accurately, and with a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing & Fulfillment:
Supervise the order fulfillment process from order receipt through to packing and shipping, ensuring all orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Lead, motivate, and manage the order fulfillment team. Provide guidance on best practices, productivity standards, and problem-solving techniques.
Oversee the management of inventory within the order fulfillment process, ensuring products are properly stocked, organized, and available for timely fulfillment.
Ensure all outgoing orders are packed and prepared to meet IHL Canada’s quality standards. Double-check orders for accuracy and ensure they are ready for delivery or pickup.
Supervise and manage internal store transfers of products between locations to maintain stock levels, optimizing the availability of products across all stores.
Collaborate with the customer service team to address any issues or concerns regarding order fulfillment, delivery times, or inventory discrepancies.
Monitor fulfillment KPIs (key performance indicators) such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and team productivity. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the order fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years in order fulfillment or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience in retail, building supply, or hardware industries is an asset.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in supply chain management, business administration, or related field is an asset.
