Summary
We are seeking a Business Operations Associate to join our dynamic team in Burnaby. This role is vital in supporting our operational strategies and ensuring seamless project execution aligned with our company's mission to build exceptional infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of daily project activities, including short-term lookaheads and site logistics.
- Support budget preparation, cost tracking, and basic financial reporting by monitoring cost codes, change impacts, and invoice status.
- Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment on project priorities and support smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, site instructions, meeting minutes, and other project records, ensuring timely distribution and proper filing.
- Support materials purchasing by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, tracking approvals, confirming lead times, and reconciling packing slips with delivered materials.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Science, Project Management, Business Administration or other related field.
- Experience in business operations or project management within the construction or development industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards is a plus.
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
