Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Unload, unpack, and inspect all incoming materials
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards
- Utilize inventory management system to track inventory and update records
- Operate forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Picking, staging and organizing inventory accurately and efficiently for orders
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Assisting in inventory cycle/annual counts
- Parts runs/pick-ups
- Shop & yard organization/maintenance as required
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order verification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
Skills:
- Experience in Shipping/Receiving - particularly in International Shipping is REQUIRED
- Experience in manufacturing/shop environment is an asset
- Hydraulics/Mechanical experience is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Quickbooks/Microsoft Tools working knowledge an asset but will train as required
- Can operate a forklift & have clean driving record
- Positive attitude
- Fluent in English
