Bethany Heppner & Associates Ltd., an independent agency of Co-operators, is growing and looking for a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Advisor to join our team.
This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys helping clients with their home and auto insurance needs while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. We are seeking someone with strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in the insurance industry.

What You'll DoInsurance Services
- Assist clients with home, tenant, condo, and auto insurance policies
- Provide policy reviews and insurance recommendations
- Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy changes
- Explain coverages, deductibles, and policy options in a clear and understandable way
- Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person
Customer Service & Administration
- Support clients with billing inquiries and payment-related questions
- Assist clients with claims-related guidance and next steps
- Coordinate and process Reliance Glass claims and related documentation
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Complete various administrative tasks that support office operations
- Follow up with clients to ensure excellent service and retention
Relationship Building
- Deliver exceptional client experiences
- Identify opportunities to provide additional insurance solutions
- Build long-term relationships based on trust and professional advice
QualificationsRequired
- Level 1 General Insurance License (British Columbia)
- Experience working in home and auto insurance
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Clear, professional, and easy-to-understand communication style
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computer systems and working in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and positive attitude
Preferred
- Experience with billing support and policy servicing
- Knowledge of Reliance Glass claims processes
- Previous experience in a brokerage or insurance agency environment
- Interest in pursuing advanced insurance licensing and professional development
