Product Support Sales Coordinator

At SMS Equipment our Product Sales Support Coordinators analyze the support capabilities of SMS Equipment’s departments and branch operations related to the sale and support of whole goods with the intent of supporting the products and services offered by SMS Equipment. The incumbent maintains relationships within SMS Equipment’s departments, branches and the recognized group of manufacturers with the goal of providing support as a coordinator. SMS Equipment is looking for a candidate who is organized, likes finding solutions and is excellent in all forms of communication.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support. Analyzes the rebuild cost of equipment and works with the Business Partners (BPs) and branch locations to evaluate cost competitiveness against direct competitors. Works with the departments and branches to provide evaluations and make recommendations.
Assist the Sales Department. Provides Live Cycle Costing (LCC) information to the sales department that will aid in the promotion and sale of whole goods. Works with the BPs, Marketing and Parts departments to aid in programs that promote the sale and support of equipment.
Other. Offers detailed feedback to Manager Product Support & Sales regarding Sales numbers, individual PSSR data, promotions and other product support related information. Will be responsible for all related data for each group of manufacturers, suppliers and service providers (BPs) or Business Partners related to sales and support.

Qualifications:
Our Product Sales Support Coordinators qualifications include strong sales, marketing and product support experience. Trade certification in a relevant trade would be considered an asset. Additional qualifications include:

A strong understanding and experience in parts, service, and product support functions.
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access as well as having a general working knowledge of computer systems.
Experienced in service as a lead in solving technical problems and in discussion with customers.
Must be proactive in keeping abreast of cutting-edge technology and best practice pertaining to the Company’s products and services, enhancing expertise, performance and bottom-line productivity.
Excellent communication skills in dealing with customers, management, and BP’s, which include verbal, written and presentation skills.
