BDO Canada’s Management Consulting Practice is a growing national multi-disciplinary practice that supports our clients with Operations, Strategy and People Management services. Our GTA office is looking for a Manager, Operations Consulting to join our Management Consulting team and own the following responsibilities:
Manage a high-quality team delivering consulting services working with clients to solve complex operational excellence business problems
Support the growth of BDO’s Management Consulting Practice within its targeted industries (Financial Services, Manufacturing, Not-For-Profit, Public Sector and Energy & Natural Resources)
Build lasting relationships and develop business with new clients in addition to maintaining relationships with existing clients
Drive and lead client engagements from inception to close
Build teams to achieve the agreed upon goals for the industry sectors
Participate in the forums to develop national practices to serve key industries and leverage achievements in other jurisdictions
Participate in the evolution of BDOs intellectual capital for the practice

Your experience and education
Preferably a minimum of 5 years as a management consultant with experience in working with clients to solve problems to address operational challenges,
Verifiable track record providing management consulting experience in operational excellence services. This includes direct experience with business process improvement resulting in improved efficiency/effectiveness/cost reduction, etc., identification of automation opportunities,
Preferably a minimum of 8 years in one or a combination of the targeted industries – Financial Services, Manufacturing, Not-For-Profit, Public Sector and Energy & Natural Resources
Verifiable track record in the targeted industries including in building relationships, achieved volume of business and sustainability of the revenues
Professional designation is an asset. (CMC, PMP, CPA etc.)
B.Comm. or MBA is preferred
