Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires familiarity with medical and dental office procedures, electronic medical records, and multi-line phone systems. The Medical Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Id selected, training will be 3 weeks and work will start end of August
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in for appointments
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling using electronic medical records systems
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and take messages
- Verify patient information and update records accurately within the system
- Collect insurance information and process payments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and data entry
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and office policies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Oscar
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance companies
- Office experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times
- Ability to commit to atleast 1 year
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
