We're looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our R&D team and lead the planning, execution and maintenance of product and regulatory compliance initiatives across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to support global decarbonization and digitization trends through advanced electric heating solutions.

Manage end-to-end certification activities (CSA, UL, ETL) from planning through approval.

Coordinate testing with external laboratories and certification bodies, including scheduling, samples and test execution.
- Ensure that products meet applicable domestic and international regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Guide compliance processes, managing audits, and producing technical documentation to support product certification.

Support troubleshooting during test failures and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.

Work with production and project management teams to schedule factory special inspections.

Maintain and organize certification documentation.

Support factory audits across all sites.

Follow up on audit findings and support closure of corrective actions.

Develop certification plans for new product development projects.

Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential impact to internal teams.

Bachelor's degree in engineering
-
5+ years' experience in certification, compliance and working with external test labs

Familiarity with CSA, UL, ETL, and CE certification processes

Strong understanding of project management principles, risk assessment, and go/no-go decision-making

Experience managing certification documentation (reports, certificates, declarations)

Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks independently

Excellent communication skills

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience in new product development using a structured stage-gate process from concept through commercialization

Fundamental working knowledge of electric heating technology
