We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Soft Tissue Massage Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized therapeutic treatments aimed at relieving pain, improving mobility, and promoting overall well-being. The Soft Tissue Therapist will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure a positive experience throughout their care journey.
Responsibilities
- Perform soft tissue therapy techniques such as massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to address musculoskeletal issues.
- Assess patient needs through detailed consultations and medical history reviews.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and goals.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients during therapy sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in soft tissue therapy through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior experience in soft tissue therapy or related fields such as massage therapy or physical therapy is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation and effective communication with healthcare providers.
- Strong customer service skills are necessary to create a comfortable environment for patients and address their concerns professionally.
- Excellent communication skills are vital for explaining treatment procedures, answering questions, and building rapport with clients.
- Previous experience working in healthcare settings or wellness clinics is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for helping others is essential.

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
