We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a friendly demeanor.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
- Barista experience is preferred not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but training will be provided.
- A passion for coffee, food preparation, and creating memorable experiences for customers is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are important for success in this role.
