Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assembler/General Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through assembly, order picking, shipping, receiving, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of machinery to ensure efficient and safe warehouse functions.T he ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on regular basis. Valid Forklift certification (preferred). All training will be provided for the work. Group Health & Dental Benefits after 4 months. Duties
- Assemble products and components accurately according to specifications
- Pick and prepare orders using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment
- Operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of materials
- Assist with construction or maintenance tasks as needed within the warehouse environment
- Ensure safety standards are upheld during all operations, including heavy lifting and equipment use
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or background in heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Familiarity with order picking, shipping & receiving processes, and inventory control systems
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and load/unload trucks safely
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking throughout the warehouse environment
- Previous warehouse experience involving industrial environments is beneficial

Use of hydraulic press, sit down forklift and coiling machine
- previous counterbalance forklift experience (valid forklift certification preferred)
- Running reels of wire rope

- 6 month previous work experience in a warehouse environment

$24.00 per hour to start with no previous rigging experience,this is a good position for someone wanting to seek a solid career in industrial lifting.
