This is a Casual (On-Call) position to pick up shifts as needed.
We are looking for someone who is able to pick up any of the following shifts for any day of the week:
- 7:00am-3:00pm
- 3:00pm-11:00pm
- 11:00pm-7:00am (NIGHT)
- Must have some weekend availability

What you’ll be doing:

As a Registered Care Attendant, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
What makes you a great fit?
- Maintains resident records and required documentation in accordance with policies and procedures and legislative requirements
- Must be able to perform medication assistance and care tasks, including: BP monitoring, Catheter care, Assistance with ROM, mobility/movement exercises, medication assistance/administration including eye drops, eye ointments, inhalers, nebulizers, PRN medication, insulin injections, transdermal medication patch, inserting rectal suppository, application of topical ointments as delegated or when part of routine assistance of daily living
- Monitors resident well-being in accordance with the policy of the residence
- Performs other related duties as required to support common area cleaning, laundry and resident care assignments
- Completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan
- Answers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to know:
- Registered with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Successful completion of Care Aid certificate program
- Medication Certification is required
- Experience with medication assistance
- Current First Aid/CPR training
- Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
