As an Intermediate Estimator, you are responsible for providing residential estimating services in support of the Estimating team.

Responsibilities
-
Building base models and options in the database
-
Updating and maintaining pricing on standard models
-
Producing and maintaining specifications for standard and custom model plans
-
Providing pricing for Designers and vendor pricing maintenance
-
Generating material purchase orders and approving corresponding invoices
-
Material and labour take-offs
-
Assisting tenders and sub-trade contractors
Qualifications
-
5+ years of estimating/construction experience
-
Knowledge of the residential construction processes, building materials, and codes.

Proficiency with construction and estimating software – Sales Simplicity, Timberline, and BuilderMT
-
Independent self-starter with high degree of initiative
-
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to work in a high stress, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
