True North Hospitality is seeking Deck Supervisors, Stand Leaders, and Stand Lead - Market team members to lead event-day operations, support high-performing teams, and create exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and operational excellence.
What to be excited for in this role:

Lead and supervise the daily operation of assigned concession stands and market-style locations during events.

Ensure all locations are fully stocked, organized, clean, and guest-ready before event opening.

Assign duties, provide direction, and coach team members to maintain efficient guest flow and exceptional customer service.

Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate event information, operational expectations, and service standards.

Monitor service speed, food and beverage quality, merchandising, and product presentation throughout events.

Oversee food production, preparation, portioning, and service in accordance with company standards.
-
Coordinate team break schedules and staffing assignments to ensure consistent guest service and operational coverage.

Collaborate with Culinary, Warehouse, and other hospitality departments to communicate inventory requirements, operational priorities, and event updates.

Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable food safety, sanitation, responsible liquor service, and occupational health and safety regulations.

Oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and overall readiness of concession locations to meet company standards throughout event operations.

Support guests with purchases and payment processes while ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience.

Communicate guest feedback and operational challenges to management, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Ensure all operational reports, inventory documentation, and administrative tasks are completed accurately and submitted on time.
What we need from you:
-
1+ years of supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, concessions, or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Smart Choices Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Experience operating POS systems and payment equipment.
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on guest service.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technologies and operational software.

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve guest concerns professionally.

Basic mathematical skills for inventory management, reporting, and reconciliation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
-
High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
-
Ability to bend, reach, and frequently lift up to 10 pounds.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended or irregular hours based on event schedules.
