Secure Group Property Services is currently hiring experienced and motivated Security Supervisors for both day and night shifts. We are looking for dependable leaders who can effectively manage security operations, support security personnel, and ensure the highest level of service is provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support security guards across multiple client sites.
- Schedule guards and coordinate shift coverage.
- Monitor guard attendance, punctuality, and shift confirmations.
- Conduct regular site visits and quality assurance inspections.
- Train, mentor, and onboard new security guards.
- Respond to site issues, emergencies, and client concerns.
- Coordinate alarm responses and emergency call-outs.
- Review daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident reports.
- Maintain communication with guards throughout each shift.
- Ensure company policies and client procedures are followed.
- Distribute uniforms, equipment, and site materials.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
- Fill in for security guards when operationally required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Certification.
- WHMIS Certification.
- Working at Heights Certification.
- Traffic Controller Certification.
- 4-Step Health & Safety Awareness Training.
- Previous security industry experience is required.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent report-writing and organizational abilities.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security management, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively across various shifts.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail for identifying potential threats or safety issues.
- Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately during emergencies or security breaches.
- Valid certification in security operations or relevant law enforcement training is a plus.
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
