LINE COOK - LOCATED IN CALEDON (ALTON), ONTARIO
Join our Food & Beverage team! We are currently looking for a Line Cook to be part of Two Brothers Restaurant for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work cooperatively with others to elevate the guest experience for Every Guest, Every Time.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the line in an efficient, effective manner to ensure the completion of customer orders in a timely, consistent manner.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of ingredients before cooking.
- Taste and evaluate dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards for flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Cook food items in various kitchen equipment, such as grills, ovens, fryers, and stovetops.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure that dishes are cooked properly.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in the quality of the dishes.
- Daily opening and closing duties in the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation within the Safe Food Handlers guidelines.
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to achieve common goals.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, chefs, and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Notify supervisors of any equipment issues, shortages, or quality concerns.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Food Handlers Certificate or acquire one within one month of hire date
- A minimum of 3-4 years of previous Line Cook experience working in a hotel/restaurant environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with staff and guests.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task and assist in all kitchen operations.
- Willingness to accommodate guest requests.
- Ability to anticipate, prevent, and solve problems as necessary.
- Passion for cooking and the desire to pursue a career as a cook.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work on a varied, flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Culinary degree or diploma considered an asset but not required
We would benefit from an experienced Cook with an eye for detail and passion for creativity. We have AM/PM/part-time shifts available and are willing to work with the right candidate to build an optimal schedule.
