Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our team. This role combines the art of preparing delicious pizzas with providing excellent customer service at the front counter. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas following established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Take customer orders accurately at the cash register and process transactions promptly
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations during shifts
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
Skills
- Must be Permanent Resident of Canada and Canadian Citizen
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of Experience in serving or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or pizza shop environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions accurately
- Kitchen experience including familiarity with pizza-making equipment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and reliability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
