Are you looking to join a growing company in the fintech space? Are you an experienced accountant with a keen eye for detail? Our client is building out their finance team and looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join them in a full time capacity.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is as follows but not limited to:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple entities, ensuring proper segregation, consistency, and integrity while processing high volume daily transactions.

Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping

Support month‑end and year‑end close processes across all entities

Prepare and review intercompany transactions and reconciliations
-
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations
-
Assist with financial reporting, including internal management reports
-
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as required
-
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
-
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed
-
Respond to finance‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or similar field
-
5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
-
Professional accounting designation or progress toward one is an asset
-
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple legal entities

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
-
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)

Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
