Job Summary:
Required: 4- 5 DAYS/ WEEK
MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatrics and pediatrics dentistry and have excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from teeth
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess the overall oral health of patients
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Schedule patient recall appointments
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- New Grads are welcome to apply
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desired
- Knowledge of Paradigm or similar dental software is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
