Atlas Packaging is a Canadian operated company, with more than fifty years experience of providing superb quality and service to clients across North America. We produce both stock and custom products, most of which can be printed up to four colours. We manufacture bags, sheets and rolls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repairs and/or maintenance on all production machines.
- Ensure that both equipment and building facilities are properly maintained and repaired as necessary.
- Preventive Maintenance.
- Keep maintenance room clean.
- Use of all PPE and see all Safety Hazards are eliminated.
- Inventory Control of Maintenance Shop.
- Follow Health & Safety protocols when working.
- Follow HACCP/SQF protocols when working and paperwork filled-out.
- Ensure that the area around the machine is kept clean.
- Identify areas of improvement and/or increased efficiency.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Post Secondary Diploma.
- Millwright qualification is required.
- Electrical and welding qualification is an asset.
- Capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
