Production Associate / Assembler
The Shutters Inc. – London, Ontario
Job Overview
The Shutters Inc. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate / Assembler to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in the manufacturing and assembly of custom blinds and shutters while ensuring quality workmanship and timely production.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom shutters and blinds according to specifications
- Operate basic production and assembly tools safely
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Package completed orders for delivery or installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory handling and material organization
- Work closely with the production and installation teams
- Occasionally assist with deliveries or on-site support when needed
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset
- Experience using hand and power tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials when required
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License required
- Clean Abstract is required
