We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The technician will utilize a wide range of tools and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for repairs or testing purposes
- Repair or replace electrical components, mechanical parts, and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for complex repairs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of machinery as needed for repair or maintenance tasks
Experience
- Proven experience as an Auto Technician
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and schematics is highly desirable
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

- Red Seal Auto Technician: 1 year (required)
