Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, hospitality, and providing excellent guest experiences. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant or hospitality establishment. Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste
- Support food safety standards by handling ingredients properly and adhering to hygiene protocols
- Serve food to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation as require
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen or guest service areas

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
