Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all assigned areas meet company cleanliness standards at all times
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
