Position Description
Vivo Cura Healthcare is a multidisciplinary MSK pain management clinic focused on treating patients with muscle and joint pain. Our philosophy is that every member of the Vivo Cura team has a unique and important role to play as we try to accomplish our mission: to empower people in pain so they can get back to living. We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to function in the role of a Clinical Care Coordinator who shares this philosophy and can grow with us. This is a full-time position.
Reporting to the Clinical Care Coordinator - Team Lead, the Clinical Care Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative and patient-facing responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enhance patient care by serving as a liaison between patients and their dedicated clinical team
- Triage and onboard new patients
- Update electronic patient records with current information
- Support clinicians by providing accurate case summaries and assisting them while they assess and treat patients
- Deliver impeccable service to patients by educating them about proposed treatment plans and routinely following up with them throughout their time at Vivo Cura Health
- Maintain and respect patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to Vivo Cura Health policies, procedures and protocols
- Various other duties as required

Education and Experience
- Required: Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Required: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Required: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Preference given to those with experience working with people with muscle, bone and joint pain in a clinical setting
- Preferred: Experience with medication management
- Experience with electronic medical records software (Accuro preferred)
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
