Position Summary
The Warehouse Heavy Duty Associate is responsible for handling and transporting materials throughout the warehouse to support return operations. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, transport, and organize boxes, cartons, and materials throughout the warehouse
- Pull, push, and maneuver roll cages, carts, and other material handling equipment
- Scan barcodes and update inventory records using handheld scanning devices
- Unpack incoming shipments and break down cardboard boxes for recycling or disposal
- Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and staging materials as required
- Maintain proper material flow between warehouse departments
- Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards
- Support other warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience using barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems
- Familiarity with warehouse processes and material handling procedures
- Maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a positive work attitude
- Strong comprehension and learning ability
- Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs
Physical Requirements
- Minimum height requirement: 170 cm (5'7")
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the shift
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
Work Schedule
- 5 days per week (Sunday off)
- Up to 9 hours per shift
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 5:15 PM – 2:30 AM
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
