Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and providing excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food safety while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. The Part-time Line Cook will work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in meal preparation and food industry operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
