Position Title: Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker
Location: Eastern Manitoba
Rate of Pay: $20/hr
About the Client and Role:
Our client is a multi-site healthcare organization looking for healthcare aides on an as-needed basis. In this role, expect to travel to various sites within the health authority to assist in caring for patients experiencing a range of conditions or illnesses from acute to chronic in nature.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist Registered members of the healthcare team with basic patient care and clinical tasks.

Assist patients/clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding etc…).

Replenish linen carts, supply rooms, equipment as needed.

Complete basic patient care documentation, if required by the facility.

Report any patient concerns or clinical findings to the appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Uphold the mission and values of the client organization.

Contribute to enhancing the overall quality of life to the patients/clients assigned to your care.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.

CPR certification within the last 12 months.

Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sectors portion (within the last 6 months).

Physical ability to work in a role which requires extended time on your feet.
