RDG Hauling is Hiring Experienced Drivers
RDG Hauling is a local, family-run trucking business seeking experienced drivers to join our team as we head into grain season—our busiest time of the year. With newly acquired contracts and increased demand, we are currently hiring:
- 1 Full-Time Driver
- 1 Seasonal Grain Hauling Driver
We are looking for knowledgeable, reliable drivers to support our operations. Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Trent Hills, Cobourg, Belleville, or Peterborough areas.

- Enclosed trailer work is typically Monday to Friday, with opportunities for grain hauling after regular hours and on weekends during peak season
Requirements
- Must reside in the Trent Hills, Cobourg, Belleville, or Peterborough area
- Available on short notice when required
- Willing to work extended hours during peak grain season
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks (no automatics)
- Experience with grain trailers, enclosed trailers, and flat deck trailers is considered a strong asset
- Clean driver's abstract
- Must not be considered a high-risk driver
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing schedules based on weather and crop conditions
Important Information
Grain hauling is highly dependent on weather conditions and elevator operating hours. When conditions are right, we work. During peak harvest periods, grain hauling may operate 7 days per week if weather permits and elevators are accepting grain.
Some weeks may be extremely busy, while others may be slower. Applicants must be comfortable with the seasonal nature of the work.
Because we often receive last-minute hauling requests, we require drivers who live locally and can respond quickly when work becomes available.
Overnight stays in trucks are not permitted.
Depending on crop conditions and business needs, enclosed trailer work may become a year-round position.
