Silverleaf Cannabis is expanding! We are looking to hire a PART-TIME Vape Specialist for our separate vape shop located within our retail space. We are specifically looking for coverage during EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, with potential for full-time hours during the summer and busy seasons. The ideal candidate is an experienced retail professional who is dedicated, reliable, and passionate about the vaping industry.
Candidates MUST have reliable transportation. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always greet customers with a friendly attitude as they enter the shop.
- Responsible for signing in and verifying cash floats at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Create an educational and informative experience for all customers, from beginners to experienced hobbyists.
- Recommend products including e-liquids, disposable vapes, pod systems, mods, and specialized hardware.
- Help Store/Assistant Managers open and close the shop following standard operating procedures.
- General housekeeping (vacuuming/sweeping, sanitizing counters, and cleaning glass display cabinets).
- Promptly ID all customers who look under the legal age, as required by provincial tobacco and vapour product legislation.
Qualifications:
- Must provide a copy of a clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required.
- Knowledge of vape hardware, e-liquid profiles, and industry trends.
- Must be available for shift work any time between 9am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
- A team player with a professional attitude.
- Desire to educate the community on vape products and accessories without providing medical advice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
