As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves around the world and in our local community, Conestoga College continues to adjust plans based on the guidance provided by our local Public Health authority. Considering these unprecedented circumstances, final hiring decisions remain contingent upon confirmed enrolment numbers and the evolving work environment. We are currently accepting applications to teach communications courses part-time in Fall 2021. The courses focus on developing writing skills for academic and workplace success across College programs.
Although many of our programs are currently being delivered remotely, all employees are expected to be able to work on campus as required.
Master’s Degree in a Communications or related field is required.
Minimum of three years of teaching introductory writing and professional communication skills with academic expertise in English rhetoric, grammar, and writing
Experience with online course delivery is preferred
Excellent leadership and teaching skills
A strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a faculty team
