To provide a variety of office administrative, secretarial and financial support services for one of several positions within the Health Sector Workforce & Beneficiary Services Division at the Ministry of Health.
The Health Sector Workforce and Beneficiary Services (HSWBS) Division is responsible for workforce strategies and operational delivery of provider services that contribute to effectively meeting patient and population health needs and improving patient outcomes through the efficient delivery of health services.
The Division has the following primary areas of responsibility for the health system:
Agreements and Negotiations
Compensation Policy and Programs
Publicly-funded medical services
Workforce Planning and Development
Nursing Policy Secretariat
In carrying out its responsibilities, HSWBS works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including federal and provincial ministries, health authorities, regulatory organizations, professional associations and unions, and educational institutions, among others.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Secondary school graduation OR equivalent
Minimum one (1) year administrative/clerical experience working in an office setting.
Minimum one (1) year experience typing, formatting, and proofreading a variety of documents using MS Office (Outlook/ Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) in an office setting.
Minimum one (1) year experience responding to general inquiries from the public or from staff of other agencies either in person, via email and over the phone in an office setting.
Minimum one (1) year experience managing a calendar including scheduling, booking meetings, appointments and travel arrangements in an office setting.
Preference may be given to applicants who have 1 or more of the following:
Certification or Diploma in Office Administration or a related area.
More than one (1) year administrative/clerical experience working in an office setting.
Experience using CLIFF and eApprovals.
Experience providing services to a broad range of clients.
Experience in records management practices, process and filing systems, including maintaining a records management system (e.g.: ARCS and ORCS).
Experience with managing credit accounts and processing financial transactions.
