Heavy Duty Parts Person
Profab Manufacturing Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Parts Person to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and knowledgeable in the heavy equipment, trucking, or logging industry.
Responsibilities:
- Source and order heavy duty truck and equipment parts
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels
- Assist mechanics and shop staff with parts requests
- Receive and organize incoming shipments
- Process work orders, purchase orders, and invoices
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Communicate with suppliers and customers professionally
- Identify parts using manuals, software, and vendor catalogs
Requirements:
- Experience in heavy duty truck, transport, forestry, or equipment parts
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and truck components
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience considered an asset
Assets:
- Experience with logging equipment, loaders, or off-road equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience with inventory management systems
