The Crupi Group of Companies is a family-run business that has serviced Toronto and surrounding areas since 1951 in the road construction, aggregate material and maintenance industries.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Asphalt Plant Manager is responsible for managing the production, maintenance, and personnel at our multiple plant site locations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily production and operations of our plant site locations and crushing operations to achieve operational excellence and optimal plant capacities to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales team and Operations team in regards to production volume and requirements.
- Work with the Quality Control team to ensure quality and specifications are met.
- Organize and manage subcontractor activities (including but not limited to: welders, electricians, etc).
- Enforce company policies and safety protocols onsite.
- Participate in hiring new employees, coaching, and mentoring current employees (includes both union and non-union groups).
- Budgetary responsibility related to the asphalt plants, repairs and maintenance, Capital Projects, etc.
- Manage Environmental protocols as it relates to the asphalt plants.
- Manage safety protocols as it relates to the asphalt plants.
- Liaise Industry vendors and associations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience within asphalt manufacturing is required.
- Organized with the ability to change priorities as needed.
- Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
- Basic computer skills are required.
This position is permanent full-time, year-round, salaried, non-union.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
