Job Overview
Neddy's North Bay Hyundai is currently seeking an experienced fully licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician to become an integral part of our Service team! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly while providing outstanding service that reflects our commitment to quality and excellence. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on Internal combustion, Hybrid and EV powertrain components, transmissions, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Service vehicle systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignments, and electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures for Hyundai vehicles and other makes/models while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide labour and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Install manufacturer accessories such as remote starters and trailer hitches, etc
- Maintain detailed service records, diagnostic reports, and repair logs in accordance with dealership protocols.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work area
Experience/Qualifications
- Valid Automotive Service Technician License (Trade Code: 310S - 6+ years fully licensed minimum)
- Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician is a major asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and alternative powertrains.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance routines.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools proficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients when required.
- Prior experience working on Hyundai vehicles is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention certificate preferred
