ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The Branch Manager is a management position which is responsible for the organized, successful and profitable operation of the Company’s Branch. The Branch Manager is part of ECCO Supply’s management team responsible for creating and maintaining a professional and well-run organization which is able to capitalize on new opportunities while meeting all the challenges of its existing business. DUTIES:
- Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Branch including, but not limited to, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources, Inventory Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Purchasing, plus all financial functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, budgeting, and credit and collections;
- Consistently providing superior customer serviceto ECCO Supply customers so they will want to do repeat business;
- Aggressively pursuing new opportunities in the market to ensure ECCO Supply’s prominence in both residential and commercial business;
- Establishing and maintaining a first-class business relationship with ECCO Supply customers (internal and external);
- Ensuring ECCO Supply is provided opportunity in all large projects by maintaining a productive and mutually beneficial relationship with local engineers;
- Overseeing the effective, efficient, economical and productive operations of the sales counter, point of purchase displays, and warehouse;
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 5-7 years of direct branch leadership experience with direct reports from sales, administration, operations, custom fabrication shop and warehouse management
- A degree or college diploma in Administration, Accounting, Business, Engineering or Management;
- A strong Financial and Business acumen (sound judgment, managerial perspective, ability to manage annual business planning, budgeting and monthly profit & loss statements)
- Applied knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems;
- A strategic thinker with a growth mindset. A proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans that capitalizes on market opportunities and delivers sustainable, profitable growth.
