Areas of Expertise:
Experimental design consisting in the:
Adaptation of parts or assemblies to specific test requirements.
Design of experimental test sections.
Modification of components to measure parameters of specific regions (temperature, pressure, stress, etc.)
Design of artificial engine environments around test articles.
Assistance to engine programs to attain their certification.
Preparation of design reviews when required.
Support during manufacturing, assembling and testing of designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical/operational design and drafting support to the Development Engineering organization.
Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet test objectives.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience.
An extensive knowledge of mechanical design and drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.
Desired experience on CATIA or equivalent.
Candidate should be organized and dynamic, have good spoken and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program.
