Are you a passionate Kinesiologist who is dedicated to helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives?
At Lifemark, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day by improving access to quality care and positively impacting the communities you serve.
Why Lifemark?
For over 26 years, Lifemark has been one of Canada's leading providers of rehabilitation services, helping Canadians live life well. With more than 325 clinics across the country and a team of 6,000 dedicated healthcare professionals, we combine the strength of a national network with the personalized care of a local clinic.
Our collaborative teams include physiotherapists, massage therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, kinesiologists, mental health professionals, and many other healthcare experts who are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care.
As part of the Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw family of companies, Lifemark is helping build a connected, patient-first healthcare ecosystem, making it easier for Canadians to access the care they need, when they need it.
Your Impact
As a Lifemark Kinesiologist, you'll play a key role in helping people regain strength, restore function, and build confidence through movement. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll create meaningful change by empowering patients to achieve their rehabilitation and wellness goals. You'll be more than an exercise professional—you'll be a coach, educator, motivator, and trusted partner throughout each patient's recovery journey.
In this role, you will:
-
Develop individualized, evidence-informed exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's goals and abilities.
-
Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
-
Motivate and educate patients, helping them build confidence, improve function, and maintain long-term health and wellness.
-
Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans, and celebrate milestones throughout their recovery.
-
Utilize electronic charting and digital tools to support efficient, high-quality patient care.
-
Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
-
Contribute to a positive, supportive clinic culture by collaborating with colleagues and participating in team initiatives and community events.
Are You the Right Fit?
We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping people move better and live healthier lives. You enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are committed to delivering exceptional care. Whether you're an experienced clinician or a new graduate eager to begin your career, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Bring
-
Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
-
A degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
-
A passion for exercise prescription, rehabilitation, and health promotion.
-
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
-
A commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
-
Previous clinical experience is an asset, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
